Participation information

Dear students of the University of Potsdam,
this survey is aimed at all students at the University of Potsdam.

Why are we conducting this survey?
The survey is designed to gain information about the student’s mental and physical health and to identify potential challenges and resources in their everyday life at the University of Potsdam. The results will be used to develop strategies for the University of Potsdam and faculty-specific measures to promote health in the day-to-day campus life.

What can you expect from our survey?
The survey begins with socio-demographic questions. Then, information about various possible challenges and resources relating to campus life as well as various characteristics of physical and mental health and well-being are collected. Finally, information about students’ health-related behavior is collected, particularly regarding nutrition, physical activity, media use and substance use. We would like to point out that the questions used are not suitable for diagnostic purposes and that no individual feedback is provided.

How long will it take you to complete the questionnaire?
Answering the questions will take about 20 minutes. You can end the survey at any time without giving reasons. However, in the interests of usability and success of the survey, we ask you to complete the entire questionnaire if possible.

What happens to your data?
The survey contains very personal questions on sensitive topics. Answering the questions is voluntary. You have the option of ending your participation in the survey at any time without suffering any disadvantages. By participating, you are making an important contribution to promoting health at our university and student campus life as well as removing barriers at the University of Potsdam.

The secure handling of your data is our top priority. Before you can start answering the questions, we ask you to read the information on data protection on the following page. To do this, click on "Next".

How do you find out about the results?
For the Winter Semester 2025/26, you can find information on this on the Feel Good Campus website. If the results are published, data will only be published in aggregated/fully anonymous form.
